What is it?

We define Subversive Technology as the use of technology in arguably
unethical ways with the intent to compromise the safety and/or privacy
of Internet users. We will not participate in the creation of subversive
technologies. We do not accept contracts for projects that include:

▶  controlled substances
▶  information harvesting
▶  data mining/phishing
 ▶  unsolicited email campaigns
▶  warez, crackz, serialz
▶  pirated media or data
▶  illegally-licensed software

Regardless of its main purpose, your project must adhere to The United
States Federal Trade Commission's CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, which regulates
unsolicited emailings. This Act punishes the collection of personal info
if explicit consent is not given (via Terms of Agreement or otherwise).
